This powerful film for Inter-LGBT - an organisation which aims to combat discrimination based on personal preference, sexual orientation and gender identity - is built around a shocking statistic: 85% of trans people will suffer abuse throughout their lives.
Created by TBWA\Paris and directed by Guilhem Machenaud through Wanda Paris, the film portrays what appears to be an abusive relationship between a father and his trans daughter - forcing her to run, while he follows in the car; to fist-fight; to break down the door of a wardrobe that she's been shut inside. But as the film draws to a close, we learn that what he's actually doing is preparing his daughter for the bullying and confrontation she will face as a young trans teenager.
Supported by a dedicated website and hashtag, #SupportTransPeople, the goal of the campaign is to make the public aware that, without the support of the people around them, trans boys and girls are particularly at risk of becoming victims of verbal and physical abuse.
