The Los Angeles-based Australian-born director has written and helmed a fun piece of content for The Calile Hotel that turns the usual narrative of guests vying for highly coveted sun loungers on its head.
Created for The Calile by Studio Bland, the gorgeously graded, sun-soaked film depicts the curious case of a poolside bed that develops the hots for a young man who has been lazing poolside.
Talking about his visual style Cameron comments: “I am drawn to older films and an older style of making films where it is all a bit slowed down. No gimbels or drones, or crazy use of VFX… I don’t like to let a certain technique or camera move overpower what the story is trying to tell.”
