Despite Michael Bond's A Bear Called Paddington capturing the hearts of children (and adults) in 1958, the distinctive Peggy Fortnum illustrations hadn't been brought to life in authentic animation until now.
Using TV Paint and aftereffects, Passion Pictures' talented trio againstallodds have worked since may, alongside Barbour’s integrated creative agency, Thinking Juice, to create Please Look After This Bear for the festive season.
Glorious animation aside, the film itself tells a quite lovely tale of thoughtfulness and endearing effort (as is in keeping with the character); the culmination being a sustainable gift that makes for a refreshing change from the excesses elsewhere.
