Created by The Newtons Laboratory/Athens, this brilliantly styled and humorous spot taps into the near-impossible task of securing seats for one of European basketball’s most in-demand events.

Directed by Vasilis Katsoupis through Filmiki, the film opens on a man drifting through a slightly eerie vintage market. There, he stumbles upon a dusty lamp, gives it a rub, and summons a lavishly dressed genie who dutifully grants his first two wishes.

But when the final request turns out to be tickets to the Final Four, the genie bursts out laughing, triggering a chaotic, Evil Dead II-esque sequence in which the surrounding objects join in, mocking this impossible ask. The spot draws to a close with a witty closing message: magic can’t get you to the game, but a Piraeus Bank card can.
