Directed by Chris Maggio and Pablo Rochat through Iconoclast USA, this wistful promo for indie folk artist Phoebe Bridger's track I Can’t Wait takes us on vibrant journey through LA from the perspective of a fly.
The film opens from the upside-down viewpoint of an apartment, when two long, spindly insect legs enter the edge of the frame and reveal that the story is unfolding through a fly’s-eye view.
What follows is a vivid trip across the city, blending dynamic, live-action camera work and CGI as the fly zooms in on everyday happenings, soaring through supermarkets, liquor stores, roller rinks and hiding inside the artist’s guitar.
