Excitement levels are pretty high for this year's Super Bowl Halftime Show, with icons Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar coming together to create (according to an excitable press release) "what could be the greatest 12 minutes in music entertainment the world has ever seen".

Tickling the anticipation further is the super-slick, sumptuous hype-film from Straight Outta Compton/Friday director F. Gary Gray, which sees each of the stars answering The Call from their distinctive environments to unite for the big game.

Merging together quintessential tracks from each of the artists, the film, created in-house at Pepsi in collaboration with RadicalMedia, offers enjoyably overblown views of each character, from Eminem having a lyric-spitting battle with a younger version of himself to Kendrick Lamar channelling his inner Stephen J. Cannell whilst jotting down thoughts.

“It was critical that we tell this story in an authentic way," comments said Todd Kaplan, VP of Marketing at Pepsi, "so we partnered with the creative genius of both F. Gary Gray and Adam Blackstone to deliver this impactful piece of content.

"The trailer will be available on our Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show app along with a range of behind the scenes footage, fan giveaways, and so much more to ensure fans continue to get hyped for the show in the coming weeks.”
