Skateboarding apparel brand Palace has teamed up with outdoors lifestyle brand Barbour, to launch this brilliantly silly spot, directed by Somesuch’s Will Robson-Scott, promoting their outerwear collaboration.
Set in a quintessentially English barber's shop, the spoof documentary-style spot sees skate-team members Lucien Clarke and Danny Brady dropping by for a haircut, debuting the new Palace x Barbour collection with a nod to both brand’s British roots.
The film closes with a close-up shot of the barber brushing some rather beautiful blonde locks, before comedically panning out to reveal the luscious coat of an Afghan hound, a playful reference to the quilted dog coats available in the collection.
