Now, we're not going to get into the sticky debate over the pros and cons of billionaires buying up football clubs whilst writing about this spat as a) this cheeky spot does that job for us and b) we know next-to-nothing about 'the beautiful game'.
What we do know, however, is a show tune when we hear it, so were delighted to hear Paddy Power's entertaining remangling of We're In The Money form the basis for this fan-baiting ad, Football. You gotta love it., in which a stalwart supporter changes his tune when hearing of his club's new benefactors.
Following on from its joyful Cheltenham work, BBH's second commercial for the brand utilises the talents of Pulse's Freddie Waters and creative team Dom and Kier to create a piece that will provide a chortle to even the most stubborn of devoted die-hards.
