This powerful short film is a heartfelt conversation between director Ozzie Pullin and his older brother, Jordan, who grew apart when Jordan left to serve in Afghanistan aged just twenty.
The film, titled Once You See Red, features a montage of chilling footage from Jordan’s personal archive alongside present day imagery beautifully captured on 16mm film.
Framed within an honest and spontaneous conversation between the two brothers, it captures the moving and candid moment when Jordan, a self confessed ‘bottle it up’ guy, opens up to Ozzie about the haunting memory of his time in Afghanistan.
Pullin hopes that the film shines a small light on a much bigger issue in the hope that other people who are dealing with similar issues might feel more comfortable to talk.
