Award-winning design collective Lobo, represented by international production company The Ebeling Group, has formally launched a New York office. The fully staffed office has direct access to their flagship studio in Sao Paolo, Brazil for a coordinated 360-degree effort and easy exchange of talents across time zones.
“It’s a significant development for Lobo to be formally setting up shop in New York City,” says Mick Ebeling, Founder of The Ebeling Group. “We’ve seen a constant and growing worldwide demand for Lobo and they have created a seamless workflow between the NY and Sao Paulo studios so we can focus on any magnitude of project, regardless of the geographical origin of that assignment. With this new office, Lobo is even better prepared to serve the needs of the U.S. advertising community.”
Creative Director Daniel Piwowarczyk will oversee the New York studio and Lobo’s Founding Partner Mateus de Paula Santos will divide his time between Sao Paolo, Brazil and New York City. Piwowarczyk adds that, “The excitement is felt across the entire company, from Lobo to TEG. Having a studio set-up in New York will give us a wider range of opportunities as far as stateside projects go.”
Lobo has become known for their richly textured, conceptual work with many of their most recent projects spanning broadcast, interactive and print. The NY team of international designers has completed projects for McDonald’s, Target, Nike, and Saturn among others.
Since Lobo’s inception in 1994, they have garnered numerous awards including distinctions from The One Show (2007/2008), the Art Director’s Club (2005/2008), the Cannes Lions Festival (2006/2007), the New York Advertising Festival (2007/2008), D&AD (2007/2008) and the Clio Awards (2007).
