Old Spice, young man

A set of new spots from Wieden + Kennedy for Old Spice retains the practical effects and snappy dialogue that made these ads and their leading man so charming. 

Full of fun surprises, ridiculous stunts, and the reveals that made the original spots memorable, both Office Visit and Time Out play on a new father-and-son relationship that adds a new twist to the classic ads. Isaiah Mustafa returns ten years after his first Old Spice ad to try to encourage his son to join the family business. Or smell like the family business...we’re not sure. 

Mustafa shows up at a board meeting where his son is presenting, bringing a poolside tiki bar into the high rise. In another ad, he ice skates onto a basketball court and ends up (you guessed it) on a horse. Directing duo Matias and Mathias maintain the fast comedy beats, with clever writing and slick visual effects production from Epoch Films.
