As dreaded cold season looms, this gorgeously globular spot, titled Inflatable House, conveys that blocked, bunged-up feeling that comes with a congested conk.
Created by agency Bray Leino and Farquhar-Smith, the film stars the Olbas Oil hero, Lauren, who is having a ‘duvet day’, when she is plagued by giant, mysterious balloons that swell around her, hemming her in.
Using stop-motion animation, mixed with live action, Farquhar-Smith expertly fashioned Lauren’s distorted world of strange spheres.
He worked in collaboration with illustrator, Izzy Burton, who designed two distinctive Laurens: the first one under the weather and bleary-eyed, and the second, refreshed, healthy and smiling after a healing sniff of Olbas.
