Object & Animal announce the signing of French-Canadian director and photographer Alex Acy for representation in the UK and US.

Acy brings a singular visual sensibility rooted in emotional truth and striking, hyperreal imagery.

Acy is known for developing a distinctive visual language that blends intimate, human-scale stories with elevated, cinematic worlds. His work evokes reality as it is felt rather than simply observed, immersive, tactile, and deeply resonant. Whether working in music or narrative-driven campaigns, Acy's goal is to create visuals that linger with audiences long after the screen fades to black.

His growing body of work has quickly attracted international attention, culminating in a nomination for Best New Director at the 2025 UK Music Video Awards, marking him as one of the most exciting emerging voices in contemporary filmmaking.

“Alex has an incredibly intuitive understanding of emotion and atmosphere,” says Morgan Clement “There’s a rare sensitivity in his work, paired with a bold visual confidence that feels both modern and timeless. We’re excited to help amplify his voice and support the evolution of his already distinctive cinematic language.”

With a background in both directing and photography, Acy approaches each project with a meticulous eye for composition and storytelling, crafting images that feel visceral, immersive, and profoundly human. Object & Animal looks forward to collaborating with Acy as he continues to expand his creative reach across music, narrative, and commercial work.
