Around five hundred dogs will be put down in US shelters every day, due to a lack of suitable homes for them.
This collection of paw-some pooch pics produced by CASEY will hopefully raise funds to support the charity’s mission to make all the nation’s shelters no-kill by 2025.
The artworks are the result of a collaboration between the Casey director’s R&D company Satellite Lab and the post-production house LVLY.
Van de Roer made use of a new patented technology, DynamicLight, to dramatically slow down these moving mutts while still being able to move the light sources around the dogs. This is because these lights are moving at over 10’000 feet per second – completely transforming even the frozen moments of high-speed imaging.
The director recently used DynamicLight in Thor: Love and Thunder and previously in Thor: Ragnarok.
