Aptly directed by the first ever female Saudi filmmaker Haifaa Al Mansour through Lief, this inspirational campaign created by Wieden + Kennedy for sports apparel brand Nike follows a young woman as she fantasises over her potential athletic pursuits.
The film, titled What If You Can, opens with a female student sitting on the steps at school, when a football is kicked to her. Although she decides not to join in the game, she goes about the rest of her day finding sporting inspiration in every action she makes.
Through cleverly-time transitions and edits, library shelves seamlessly transform into a climbing wall and a bench becomes a balance beam as she daydreams of all her future athletic endeavours.
