London agency MullenLowe has launched their third NHS campaign in the We are the NHS series, this time focusing on nursing.
The work is targeted at teens about to choose their degree and career switchers considering nursing as a new career. Last year’s campaign, featuring a voice over from actress Maxine Peak, ran during the World Cup and reversed the UCAS trend with a 4% upturn in figures. This new campaign, directed by Billy Boyd Cape through Academy, aims to build on this figure.
The film was shot over a three day period in Buckinghamshire Trust and, in a similar fashion to previous work in the campaign, the powerful film features real nurses working in real hospitals. From mental health to district nursing to A&E and learning disabilities - the campaign shows the huge range of highly rewarding opportunities nursing can offer.
The campaign also comprises online films and social posts created by MullenLowe's in-house arm Yeti Productions, and OOH print ads shot by photographer Adam Hinton.
