Nexxus delivers a style swap for Lindsay Lohan
Fresh Film and director Ally Gavillet bring the 1990s nostalgia with Lindsay Lohan for Nexxus.
Fresh Film NYC teamed up again with director Ally Gavillet for a culturally iconic campaign for Nexxus, starring none other than the iconic Lindsay Lohan.
In this playful Style Swap video, Lohan takes a nostalgic trip down memory lane, revisiting her 12 year old breakout role as twins Hallie Parker and Annie James from the classic 1998 film, The Parent Trap.
This vibrant campaign showcases Gavillet's signature colourful, vivacious flair, as Lohan embodies both characters, getting ‘twinspired’ while experimenting with hairstyles that capture their unique personalities. In a cheeky twist to the film, Lohan also channels the spikey antagonist, Meredith Blake, complete with her iconic giant hat.

It doesn’t stop there, there’s cheeky asides and Easter eggs dropped throughout the commercial, referencing the film, from Oeros and peanut butter to the royal flush scene in The Parent Trap. Adding her own twist, Lohan decided to adopt a British accent, bringing an extra layer of charm to the project.
It was an insane turn around to tie in with Lohan’s schedule, Gavillet praised Fresh Film’s agility, stating, “We didn’t have much prep time, but Fresh Film slayed the production and made everything feel possible.”
The campaign is out now on TV and social media.
