With clear nods to the stylings of Wes Anderson, A Romance to Remember is cute and exceptionally well done.

When two international travelers (Zac Efron and Jessica Alba) accidentally switch bags in Dubai, they use each other’s itineraries in an attempt to find each other. As they visit various museums, restaurants, and outdoor excursions, they eventually fall in love...at the very least, they fall in love with Dubai.

Efron and Alba are charming, and Craig Gillespie employs quite a few tropes of the romance genre, ending with a classic crash/meet-cute. This film follows the first Dubai Presents, which channels a spy thriller. Speaking to the work of production team MJZ and agency Mother is perhaps the fact that these two ads look like they could actually be ads for feature films.
