Directed by Rollo Hollins, through Armoury, Nando's latest ad Red Sauce Without the Red Flag, sees a host of onlookers amazed at a woman’s rather liberal squirting of the famously spicy sauce all over her spaghetti.
There’s relief all round however, when it's proved to be a milder ‘single peri’ version of the sauce. It’s a slight tale but told with super cool sound and edit.
The director commented: "I loved making this one, casting a bunch of wild reactions is basically my dream job. Mark [Edinoff] our editor had an assembly cut in minutes - deciding which reactions of out of the plethora of mad takes we got on the day took all the hours afterward. Our cast were heroes. If you look closely there is a fifth face we cast that sneaks in right at the end.”
