So says Jacob Greer, Creative Director at Cossette and part of the team behind this cracking (pun intended) spot for Canadian media-industry charity nabs, addressing the common reality of workload burnout.
The solution: Crumbles, a simple cracker who understands what it’s like to crumble under pressure. In the three minute film, This Job Can Break You If You Let It, this adorable figure reminds us that our passion, productivity, and dedication to the job doesn’t need to be sacrificed at the expense of our mental health and wellbeing.
Created in recognition of World Mental Health Day on October 10 and fantastically brought to life by Skin & Bones director (and shots' New Director Of The Year) Edward Andrews, alongside Tantrum Studio's Sean McLaughlin for the animation, this perfectly-pitched spot uses humour, honesty and a delightful smattering of swears to bring an important message to those who need it.
