The interview format has been revitalised by silly YouTube ideas, like sitting the participants in front of increasingly more perilous hot sauces or taking them on a date to a chicken shop, but they always, at their heart, have to have the content to back up the concept.
Thankfully, with Deep Issue Massage, Harry's not only has a decent scenario in which to draw out info from its prominent male figures in sport, music, and entertainment guests, it also has the endlessly charming Munya Chawawa keeping the whole thing moving.
Matching a light format with the heavy subject of men’s mental health and driving positive change might not seem like a winning formula, but the combo of Chawawa's personality and Dave Wright's solid direction makes for a genuinely entertaining dose of branded content.
Above is the first episode of the series with Kojey Radical, with the following episodes dropping once a week throughout August and September on Chawawa’s YouTube channel.
