Production company Moxie Pictures are delighted to announce the signing of award-winning comedy filmmaker and all-round Renaissance man Ben Fogg for global commercial representation.

In his own words, Fogg describes himself as “Part director, part writer, part stand-up comic and ALL stone-cold-player with 15 years experience in commercials. Like west coast hip-hop, Fogg started making waves in the 90’s but he survived the game. Today he pumps out high quality product with humility, like a Michelin-starred toilet attendant”.

Fogg’s eclectic body of work is defined by its comic flair, nuanced performance and improvisational exuberance. It’s also hilarious.

Dawn Laren (MD of Moxie Pictures) says: ‘I have been a huge fan of Fogg’s work for some time, always struck by the brilliance in his casting - he has that rare gift of identifying stand-out comedy talent. We are thrilled to welcome him to the Moxie family.’

Fogg adds: “My union with moxie is a perfect marriage, in that it’s filled with love, respect, casual nudity, and will end only when one of us dies. I’m intensely excited.”

As a precocious teen Fogg produced mega-budget miniseries for US Television. In 2005 he trained in Improvised Comedy at the IO theatre in Chicago. A career as a stand-up comedian beckoned, and since then he’s written and performed five shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

As a director, after graduating from the prestigious National Film and Television school, he quickly amassed an impressive body of both commercial and short-film work and carved out a niche as the comic triple threat of director, writer and performer. Fogg’s recent work includes campaigns for Vauxhall, Kelloggs, BBC and Unicef amongst many others.
