Employing some slick-looking CGI, this new spot from McCann New York introduces us to the young, nervous Lionel Messi as he leaves his home to travel to Barcelona.
Directed by Peter Thwaites through The Cornershop LA, the spot, which highlights Mastercard's sponsorship of the Champion's League, sees arguably the world's best footballer as a young boy, travelling to Spain where his talent will propel him to world fame.
But on the trip the young Messi wonders about what he's left behind, and what awaits him in his new adopted home. Eventually two worlds collide as young and present day Messi meet in the tunnel and we're told that whatever is priceless in your life, you take with you, wherever you are.
