Facing one's own fears is rarely as viceral and haunting as portrayed in Martin de Thurah's mesmerising new short.

Produced in collaboration with Active Child, the musical alias of American singer, songwriter and producer Patrick Grossi, Color Me is a b/w fever-dream deep-dive into the anxieties of a haunted woman, sparked by an encounter with a gloomy doppelganger.

Filled with mesmerising images brought to life through a combination of sculptures, live-action and visual effects, the films eerie tone and surreal qualities make for a mental image that's tough to shake afterwards.

“I wanted to make something frightening, de Thurah comments. "It is very hard to create a film in which someone is physically penetrated by their own anxiety, albeit in a gentle way, with a lot of love and the possibility of healing.”.

Color Me is complemented with a site - ColorMeProject.com - in which you can interact with the film's universe and buy unique sculptures created by the director for the film.
