Måneskin slaughter

Most bandmates have fantasised about doing-in their frontman from time to time, but few have committed the impulse to screen in as exuberant a style as Måneskin in this hilarious new promo.

Set to their punky/poppy track MAMMAMIA, the film sees the Eurovision reigning champions (specifically bassist Victoria, drummer Ethan and guitarist Thomas) each daydream about the circumstances and methods at which their "fucking annoying" vocalist Damiano David may meet his maker.

Controlling the carnage is PRETTYBIRD's Rei Nadal, nailing the tone and content with a lurid palette and attention-grabbing construction (the seizure-inducing strobe moment being a real highlight).

“It was a privilege to work with the band," comments Nadal, "as they are incredibly creative and hardworking. I loved making this video and the final cut as it doesn't really look like the music videos I am seeing at the moment, it really feels like it is its own thing and that is incredibly hard to do at a time where we are constantly bombarded with visuals.”
