Modelo launch a new campaign from creative AOR Grey New York called Sacrifice in celebration of soccer fans everywhere.

Sacrifice consists of :30 & :15 spots (in English and Spanish) and multiple social extensions that highlights the highs and lows of sports fandom. When it comes to soccer fans, that often includes spilling their beer in celebration (or in some cases, in the agony of defeat).

The campaign was born out of the insight that fans with the The Fighting Spirit go all out for whichever team they support and depict sports fans cheering on soccer teams with full beers that slosh and spill.

Sacrifice continues the idea that Modelo is “brewed for fans with the Fighting Spirit,” a concept that started with a college football campaign in fall 2022. Of course, Sacrifice has been crafted intentionally around a very real insight regarding the way soccer fans celebrate their teams' successes.

The spots will run across broadcast, digital and on social media platforms.
