This stylish, atmospheric film directed by Maik Ludemann, through Crafted Filmproduktion and On-Point Production, introduces us to Bernardo, an aspiring mafioso known as 'The Match', due to his favoured method of ignition.
Set in a 1970s New York firmly under Mafia control, the film follows Bernardo as he goes about his brutal business of protection rackets, torture and robberies brandishing his signature box of matches.
But he ends up looking quite the tool when the tool of his choosing misfires resulting in a vengeful boss whose chinos have turned to cinders.
