In this lovely parody commercial from The Corner Shop's Peter Martin, a young Magic: The Gathering fan (IT-star Sophia Lillis) finds her battling woes are transformed in the only way sports cinema knows how - the delicious trope of the Training Montage.
Drafting in Apollo Creed himself, king-of-the-montage Carl Weathers (star of the greatest training scene EVER committed to film), the spot sees Lillis practice her wizarding skills, in an effort to defeat her online nemesis, YouTuber Jimmy Wong .
With a tongue firmly planted in its cheek, this fun spot shows that when it comes to honing skills, you gotta have montage.
