While collaborations between brands and music artists are increasingly common, it’s far rarer to see a musician advertising their own music in a traditional TV commercial.
Yet, this is the bold move taken by mysterious French rap brand M87, in partnership with the creative agency Dat-Way.
Directed by Mathias Pardo through DAT-WAY, the film portrays a young woman completely obsessed by M87’s new drill track L’Oseille, as she wakes up to listen to it in the morning, incessantly repeating its lyrics throughout her day, much to the annoyance of the people around her.
