A collaboration between The Trevor Project's in-house content team and production company Imposter, this compelling campaign draws attention to the importance of young trans people receiving love, understanding, and gender-affirming support from the adults in their lives.
The film, titled Learn with Love, is part of the youth suicide prevention organisation's initiative to protect transgender and non-binary youth amid increased political attacks across the U.S.
It tells the inspirational stories of three young transgender people and their families, through moving interviews interspersed with old photographs of the interviewees before their transition.
Rather than dwelling on the difficulties that LGBTQ youth face, the film portrays their resilience and strength, and demonstrates the possibilities that lie ahead for young trans people, when the people who love them are on their side.
