The videogame/esport League of Legends is HUGE! We mean stadium-filling, millions-viewing huge.
As part of the massive show open for their annual World Championships, Riot Games normally kicks things off with musical performances and other live presentations. However, due to COVID travel restrictions preventing them from their long-planned live event in China, an alternative had to be found.
The solution was this epic, 14-minute short top open the main event, featuring Grammy-winning artists Imagine Dragons, alongside PVRIS, Bea Miller, JID, and Denzel Curry, incorporated in a part-animated, part-live action opus.
The result is a true spectacle and testament to LA-based production company London Alley and director Christian Breslauer, who create a vibrant, atmospheric world that is certain to have entertained its live audience of over 140 million people on November 6, 2021.
