If you’ve ever seen David Lynch’s heartwarming epic The Straight Story, you might be familiar with the central image of a white-bearded old man trekking cross-country on a mission.
However, while Lynch’s protagonist had a visit to his brother in mind, the keen-eared hero of Nothing but Lilydale will do has an even more noble pursuit: helping a shopper choose the right chicken.
Marking Lilydale’s first major integrated campaign since Baiada appointed Omnicom Oceania as its end-to-end agency partner, the Clemenger BBDO-created spot is spot is packed with charm courtesy of Finch director Christopher Riggert, who draws out delightful performances alongside an amusing vision of tractor-fuelled carnage.
