In this gorgeously-curated and meditative short film, award-winning filmmaker Ross Haines reflects on the universal milestones that both form and connect us as we journey through life.
Titled Around The Bend, the film opens with hazy, cinematic shots portraying childhood memories of a road trip, while Haines poetically recollects the words his father once spoke on the mountain: “If we stood there long enough, we could see everything”.
Viewers are then whisked through a touching journey offering glimpses into intimate moments and milestones of characters in a small town, portraying how human life is an ever-evolving, interconnected web of relationships and experiences.
