What with "joy to the world" and "tidings of comfort and joy", the spreading of jollities is fairly synonymous with the festive period.
However, after the past couple of years we've all had, the unleashing of one's emotions isn't as easy as it used to be, as the protective protagonist of this delightful animation goes to prove.
With a titular character struggling to share, Nora's Joy utilises the storytelling talents of Passion Pictures' Kyra & Constantin to express the happiness derived from opening up as a flurry of bright lights lighting up the night sky.
Animated digitally, but with an endearing stop-motion feel, this well-crafted piece from Conill Advertising is chock-full of sweetness and sumptuous visual skill.
