Knucklehead’s Dylan Hayes directs Clutch Pearlers for Clark
Taken from forthcoming album Sus Dog, released May 26th on Throttle Records.
Director Dylan Hayes’ mesmerising new video for Clark marks Knucklehead’s fourth collaboration with the inspirational artist.
Influenced by Children of the Stones and Derek Jarman’s A Journey to Avebury, Hayes’ brain-melter promo is set to a bright carefree ditty with Reich-ian tuned mallets: Clutch Pearlers deals with social awkwardness and insecurity, but with a self-awareness and self-deprecation.
The Clutch Pearlers single is taken from Chris Clark’s tenth studio album Sus Dog, and the first to fully focus on his voice. Released on his own label, Throttle Records, the record was mentored and executive produced by Thom Yorke.
