Building on its 117-year legacy, breakfast brand Kellogg’s iconic mascot Cornelius the Cockerel has been brought to life like never before in this fun and funky campaign, directed by Matthijs van Heijningen through MJZ and created by Leo Burnett
The film sees a giant green rooster strutting confidently through the city streets, casually catching the attention of passersby before landing atop of a tall tower block, assuming his rightful place as the king of breakfast.
Brimming with personality, 3D Cornelius was conceptualised and developed by the cutting-edge animation expertise of Framestore. The vibrant scene is set to iconic hip hop soundtrack Jurassic 5’s Jayou, marking the first time the track has ever been used in an advertising spot.
