Created by Isobel and directed by Nate Camponi through Chief, Keep On Moving offers a refreshingly absurd twist on the car commercial trope of a sleak lone motor gliding through striking landscapes.
Here, the vehicle of choice is a shiny grand piano and the ‘driver’ a gentlemen gleefully banging out Joe Jackson’s pacy 1980s hit Steppin’ Out, as he hits the open road and some nifty chords.
The musical road movie reaches a plot crescendo when he stops at a Jet forecourt to refuel efficiently before resuming his journey from high road to low road; major to minor – arriving at the tagline: ‘Don’t let filling up slow you down’.
A simple yet strong concept, elegantly executed. Bravo!
