The promise of internet and TV that works anywhere is taken to the limit in this fun new spot for Belgian telecom brand TADAAM.
Created by agency OONA/BAAS, Anywhere sees a hapless chap find himself transported between crazy worlds with a simple plug, from cult rituals to zombie outbreaks.
Directed by Jesse James McElroy through Fledge, the genius of the spot is in the match-cuts between the wacky zones, made all the more impressive knowing that the ambitious production captured nine distinct worlds in a single shooting day using a virtual production setup at LED Unit, combining practical builds, Unreal Engine environments and 3D assets.
“When I realised we had to shoot nine completely different scenes in one day, I figured it was either going to be an LED volume shoot or a mild psychological breakdown,” says McElroy.
“Thankfully, we chose the LED volume.”
