Remember that episode of The Simpsons where Homer's long-lost brother invites him to design his own automobile and he makes one that's such a aesthetic disaster it drives [pun intended] him out of business?
Well, we're not saying that the trainer featured in this visually creative spot for Nike's ISPA (improvise, scavenge, protect and adapt) collection is reminiscent of The Homer but, well, if we found out it came out of Springfield we wouldn't be surprised.
Thankfully, Builders Club's inventive commercial, The Road Warrior, is very eye-pleasing, playfully mixing media and techniques - hand drawings, low-fi 2D animations, self-filmed iPhone videos, slick 3D animations - to tell the shoe's story with engaging energy.
