Helmed by director and shots Awards 2023 nominee JB Braud through Parole, this beautifully shot short film, created by CCC Media House, celebrates the craftsmanship of designer Catherine Romand, and her collaboration with luxury fashion brand Delvaux.
With nostalgic, earthy imagery, the film gives us a glimpse into the life and work of the basket weaver, allowing audiences to experience Romand's passion and dedication to her craft, as well as exploring how the natural world influences her practice.
Through her poetic French voiceover, Romand reveals her connection to nature, her pursuit of timeless design, and her independent, rebellious spirit.
