ITV has devoted an impressive amount of time and resources into its mental health collaboration with Uncommon: Britain Get Talking.
The latest invasion of a normal Saturday night aired on April 3rd and saw top telly duo Ant & Dec, alongside guest Sir Mo Farah, engage in a deliberately stilted and uncomfortable live text chat in lieu of a genuine interview.
Climaxing with Ant & Dec commenting on the staggered, unnatural nature of the 'chat', the piece goes on to explain how we’re living through a mental health emergency and many of us could use a proper heart to heart - whether it’s on the phone or socially distanced in person.
Smartly placed in the heart of family tea-time viewing, this campaign continues to sell its message in impressively subversive ways.
