Known for its cinematic commercials, French streaming platform CANAL+ draws inspiration from a classic action movie trope in this simple yet effective spot, created by BETC and directed by Tom Green through Stink.

Playing on dramatic ‘red wire or blue wire’ bomb diffusion scenes, the suspenseful creative comedically emphasises the pressure of making the right choice when deciding on a new show to watch.  

In a ridiculous twist, the villain reveals that cutting either wire will result in a favourable outcome – just like how picking any series, movie or TV channel will offer an enjoyable viewing experience with CANAL+.
