Helmed by m ss ng p eces director Isaac Ravishankara, this promo for Finneas' latest track, For Cryin’ Out Loud, sees the American singer songwritertrapped in a recurring bad dream in which he keeps dying.
Led by Ravishankara’s own creative vision, the film follows Finneas and his girlfriend as they wake up each morning to repeat a continuous cycle of misunderstandings and ultimate mortality. Every time he dies, he finds himself transported back to a strange, liminal, music-hall-type space where a three-piece band play in the dark.
Deft production skills, including difficult location scouting in Los Angeles, shooting on 35mm film, and VFX for two critical dramatic deaths, enabled the captivating idea to come to life.
