Regardless of how much you know about the lore of the GEICOverse [shots patent pending], Commercial Cuddles does a cracking job of both building anticipation for one of February's Super Bowl smashes whilst creating nostalgia-fuelled feels for Neanderthal lovers.

The teased film itself, Legend of the Lizard, will be released in the pre-SB furore, and details the 25-year history of the GEICO Gecko with special appearances and interviews from the Gecko’s best friend, his high school basketball coach, coworkers, stars from GEICOs legendary Hump Day commercial, and, of course, Caveman himself.
With both doc and tease directed by World War Seven's David Shafei, spanning spoofery and kitchen-sinkery with comedic ease, this clever build-up to next month's admageddon puts the brand in a strong position to capture folks' attention.
In addition to the trailer, the GEICO Gecko and Caveman will take over GEICO’s Instagram and TikTok, engaging with the trailer and walking down memory lane.
