It's sometimes tough to follow what's going on in a frantic rugby match... but imagine how much harder it would be if you couldn't distinguish between the two teams.
Following the realisation that over 250,000 Irish fans are colour-blind, the Irish Rugby Football Union teamed up with ROTHCO to create an innovative Chrome extension that can create a bespoke colour-overlay to the on-screen action, giving colour-blind viewers the ability to adjust the tool to match their particular affliction.
Showcasing the technology is a charming spot telling the tale of Bobby Blakeney, an avid rugby supporter for 74 years and a sufferer from severe colour-blindness , unable to distinguish accurately between green and red.
The tech is available to download for free from today, from the Chrome Web Store.
