The Man Your Man Could Smell Like has become The Man Your Lan(gauge) Could Sound Like, in this hilarious spot for the AICP Awards.
Employing the talents of Old Spice alumni Eric Kallman and Isaiah Mustafa, the 2022 Awards entry film has a simple premise - a call-to-entry in several dialects - that is elevated by its witty copywriting and charming performance.
Directed by Arts & Sciences' Adam Brodie, the ad sees Mustafa belting out pleas in Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Chinese, Italian, Japanese and Swedish... and an alien tongue with which we are not yet familiar.
“Everyone in the world knows who Isaiah is,” says Kallman. “And now he’s speaking to me in my language. And that’s what we think will make this film something people will relate to and want to share.”
