The age-old question of "how much is a pint of milk?" used to be used to tell the difference between the haves and have-nots, but nowadays most people cast a keen eye over their weekly shopping bill due to ever-increasing costs.
Taking this truism and making a cheeky gag of its extent is agency Romance's latest campaign for Intermarché, in which a series of people behave as though everyday essentials are extravagant luxuries.
All ending with the tagline "La vie ne devrait pas couter aussi cher" ("Life should not cost so much"), the three films wry wit and smart performances, corralled by Grand Bazar's Katia Lewkowicz, make for a funny observation about a serious issue.
