This sweet tale tracing a couple's cinema trips through the years is a love letter to cinema as much as to love itself.

Martin Werner directs this emotional story of undying love for the Danish flower delivery brand.
Created by Danish agency PONG and produced by Bacon, the sentimental film, Date Night, depicts a couple’s relationships story via their nights out at a small indie cinema, moving through the years, from shy first date to a sad ending lifted by their thoughtful grandson’s flower-powered intervention.
Period details taking in changing fashions in moustaches and typography, gorgeous music composed by Louise Alenius & Ben Kaniewski and nice mise-en-scène details, such as the posters in the cinema lobby, all serve to elevate the film from a simple soppy story.
For the couple's first romantic rendezvous in the 60s, the film poster is for Love & Kisses; when the woman is heavily pregnant, the poster wittily reads Space Raiders; in their later years they meet with fond kiss in front of the title Euphoria.
