Created by Havas agency Otherway for Homebase, this cheerful campaign, All Your Home Needs, captures the deep satisfaction derived from the stuff in our lives.
Directed by Chris Ullens, with Park Village producing, the stop-motion spot conveys a range of surprising emotions: the cheeky fun of tools; the chromatic comforts of different paint shades; the beauty of both flower and sofa beds, an anthropomorphised storage solution item reveals its reliability and usefulness with a modest deadpan voice.
There is even a nod to the cosily co-dependant relationship between a dustpan and its brush.
Angelica Riccardi, Head of Production and Homebase Producer, Park Village: “Working on this campaign was a joy and adopting a traditional, hands-on approach for crafting cinematic animations proved refreshing. It's a process marked by gradual progress, culminating in sudden magic.”
