Director Margo Weathers Joins Holiday Roster

Director Margo Weathers now repped by Holiday in Canada.

Director Margo Weathers has joined Holiday Films for Canadian representation, while Weathers is still with Supply & Demand Integrated for US representation.

"Margo has one of the most unique styles that we've seen in a long time," says Derek Sewell, Executive Producer, Holiday Films. "It's fresh, cool and intriguing. It's the kind of work that stands above the clutter on air. Then there's Margo as a person," continues Sewell. "She's every bit as unique and lovely as her work. We welcome her wholeheartedly to Holiday Films and we're delighted to be the first to bring her talent to the Canadian market."

Weathers jumped into the commercial film production scene this past year, having previously spent ten years at Neiman Marcus Advertising as Senior Executive Art Director and Associate Creative Director. During her tenure there, she introduced moving imagery to the advertising mix of the institution. For two years, Weathers conceived, directed, and edited the web and in-store commercials as well as several short documentaries to accompany the "Art of Fashion" Campaigns for the retailer. Through working with photographers Matthew Rolston and Albert Watson on these campaigns, her film work began to attract the attention of advertising agencies. Weathers resigned from Neiman Marcus and chose to devote her career full-time to directing and creative direction.

Since launching full-time into her directorial career, Weathers has worked on broadcast campaigns for Kohl's, Vanity Fair Lingerie and Quilted Northern. She also recently completed her first job in Canada through Holiday Films for Juniper Park.

Weathers also takes on projects in editorial photography. She recently completed a photography series on the spring 2012 matte color trend – which she created using breakfast cereal. She also recently shot a portrait series on garage mechanics.
